What To Do?

You do not need to have the death certificate prior to contacting us. It is important that you contact us as soon as possible; we want you to know that we are here to help in any way we can.

As a small independent Funeral Directors we are able to provide excellent quality of service but at a reduced cost to you. We will help with the arrangements at the time but here are a few things for you to consider beforehand, if at all possible.

  • Decide whether Burial or Cremation?
  • Where will the service take place?
  • When would you like the funeral to take place?
  • Who will conduct the service? Minister, Relative or Friend?
  • Floral Tributes - Favourite flowers? We will arrange them.
  • Newspaper Notices - we can insert these on your behalf.
  • Registration of the Death - ask us about this.
  • Music - this can be very meaningful as part of the service.
  • Transport - How will the family be travelling to the service?
  • Catering - Will you be going to an outside venue or back home?
  • Hymn Sheets - Have you thought about your choice of hymns?
    - How many shall we need to have printed?
  • Donations for charity.
  • Cremated remains.
  • Headstone/Memorials.
